August has run away from me and taken my senses, mind and ability to concentrate along with it. I know what President Obama feels like - you plan for a slow news month, and then BAM! everything just gets piled on top of you. Not that I mind being busy - far from it. Things have to give, though - if I'm going to continue staying relatively sane and guiltless.
I'm going off blogging for two weeks or so, up until the next Bank Holiday (the UK's earlier version of Labor Day). On Thursday, we'll be driving up to Manchester to celebrate my sister-in-law's birthday and the wedding of my husband's cousin Greg to Zoë. It's nice to see extended family - my aunt (dad's sister) and uncle are currently visiting us for a couple of weeks and it's nice to have a bit of "home" away from Canada.
Work is going really well, but when work is going really well, it usually means there's a lot of it. I haven't really had any guest bloggers on this, but hey, if you're interested, let me know.
See you in September.
