It's hard to believe it's been ten years since MSN launched what has become the platform for instant communication on the internet (yes, I do know about Yahoo! Messenger, but it's MSN's day, okay?). In those ten years, we've seen it evolve from a rather basic instant messaging service to a place where you can draw rude photos in paint and send them to your friends, make your friends' screens buzz and use any number of combinations of emoticons to accurately express your delight or despair through the medium of instant messaging.
