I know that Google's latest release of AdWords Editor hasn't gone over well at all (not trying to be spammy linking here...). I thought I would come back to work after my holiday in Canada and find that they'd fixed whatever bug I'd heard about after the release. Instead, I've experienced a nightmare in trying to get a new account live.
To give a bit of background, the campaign isn't a CPM campaign. It never has been. Imagine my surprise when I'm uploading it in AdWords Editor and I get this:

(Yeah, I've removed the campaign information. Fancy that)
What gives? I called Google about this, they said it's a technical fault. I tried a colleague's computer - he got the same result. The only workaround to that we've been able to work out (Google hasn't been entirely helpful or forthcoming with a fix) is the following:
1. Make all account changes as normal.
2. Export a CAMPAIGN BY CAMPAIGN (NB: not a whole account) .csv bulksheet.
3. Extract Campaign, Ad Group, Keyword, Type, Max CPC, Destination URL and Status in a separate spreadsheet for your keywords.
4. Extract Campaign, Ad Group, Headline, DL 1, DL 2, Display URL, Destination URL and Status in another separate spreadsheet for your ad copy.
5. E-mail a colleague, friend, relative or hamster who hasn't uploaded the new 6.5.0 AdWords Editor update.
6. Find something else to do while they do a campaign by campaign multiple keyword and text ad upload.
I'd estimate this has added about a half a day of my time and my colleagues' time trying to get this workaround done. If Google knew about these problems on the 7th of October, why have they been so slow in rolling out a fix for the myriad of bugs which have plagued the latest release?
